Priceless, everyone is literally priceless.

There is a movie and a song out called priceless and that is where this inspiration comes from. I like the line by For King And Country, that goes like this, “mirror mirror on the wall tellin those lies”.  Is it really the mirror or our own conscience telling lies? What we see in the mirror is a reflection of our own conscience. The labels that we allow other people to put on us will attach itself to our conscience and that’s what we will begin to see. Let’s say for an example all the guys at school rate the girls, and your number happens to be 4 on the “hot” scale… Forget that scale, forget that label. Don’t start having sex to up your “hotness”, don’t start drinking to up your “hotness”, don’t sell your priceless self away for a number… Just remember that was an example but there are countless examples out there.

Jesus bought us with a price, He died for us, and that makes us oh so priceless. Every man and every woman is priceless.  Jesus wants us and we were created by God. Our conscience cries out to God but, we try to drown it out with drinking, smoking, sex, self-harm, and trying the things the word tells you is the cool thing to do. In Psalms 139:14 David says that he knows he was fearfully and wonderfully made. You weren’t made to be what everyone else thinks you should be. Like David, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made, yet we allow other people to label us. When you start to seek God is when you start to discover the real you, the you He created. In Philippians 4:8 Paul encourages us to think on these things: things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things that are pure, things that are lovely, and things that are of good report. If we don’t think upon these things, then… well… it’s not good.

Don’t let anyone put a number on you, especially the devil. He’ll whisper lies into your ear all day and all night long until you commit suicide and or drives you crazy. Ultimately if you’re listening to the lies, they will over take you. For each lie you listen to is another brick to your prison. It’s time to break down the walls that hold you captive. It’s time to step out from all of the labels that have been put on you. God made you, Jesus wants you, you are priceless. Unless you undersell yourself with the lies of the world.

God made you, He formed you in your mothers womb, God all mighty fashioned you. The God of the universe, the one who made the stars, made you. I mean come on now how exciting is that? That’s oh so breathtaking. But we have a free will, and we tend to mess it up. We end up saying, this is the newest hip thing lets try it, or hey drugs lets try it. And we mess up ourselves and our spirit man and for what? to look cool? Do you think looking cool for a select group of people is worth an eternity in hell? Screw what people think of you. If your friends are trying to move you away from God, then newsflash they aren’t your friends and you should cut those relationships off.  If you never knew God, then well there is still time, because your not dead yet. Just keep in mind that we don’t know the day nor the hour in which Jesus will return. Better be prepared, and don’t leave the oil behind.
